2. Data We Collect

Penatuku may collect and process the following types of data:

Account Data

We may collect account-related data such as name, email address, authentication information, and business or outlet information. This data is used to create, manage, and secure user accounts.

Business and Outlet Data

Users may input business or outlet information in the app. This data is used to support laundry business management, outlet configuration, and operational features.

Penatuku may request access to device contacts through the READ_CONTACTS permission only when users choose to use the Choose from contacts feature. This feature helps users fill customer information faster by importing selected contact details, such as name and phone number. Penatuku does not access contacts without user action. Contacts data is only used for app functionality related to customer creation or customer selection.

We use collected data to:

  • Provide laundry POS and management features.
  • Manage customers.
  • Create and manage transactions.
  • Track laundry order status.

We do not use contacts data for advertising.

4. Data Sharing

Penatuku does not sell personal data or contacts data.

We may share or process data with trusted service providers only when needed to operate the app, such as backend/database providers, authentication providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, or crash reporting providers if used.

These providers are used only to support app functionality, security, storage, or maintenance.

We may also disclose data if required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect user data, including using HTTPS for data transmission, authentication to protect account access, access control, and secure backend storage.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure. We work to protect user data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain user data for as long as needed to provide Penatuku services, support business operations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security.

Users may request data deletion by contacting us at support@binerlabs.com.

After receiving a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize the relevant data unless retention is required for legal, security, or legitimate business reasons.

7. User Choices and Permissions

Users can choose whether to grant Contacts permission.

If users deny Contacts permission, they can still use Penatuku, but the Choose from contacts feature may not work. Users can manually input customer information instead.

Users can also manage app permissions through Android device settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Penatuku is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such data.
